DM146 is a 1 mil polyethylene terephthalate (PET) based product that is aluminized on one surface. On the non-VDA side of the PET, 3M’s ® 966 acrylic,
pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA), with removable liner is applied. DM146 offers excellent physical, thermal and optical properties and is engineered for use in multi-layer insulation
(MLI) blanket applications, where low emittance and solar absorptance surfaces are desired. This product is also used on MLI blankets as edge closures and complies with ASTM D-
5213. Widths are available from 1⁄2” to 46” wide (12.7 to 1168 mm).
