SAR-GEL® Water Indicating Paste
Water indicating paste provides a fast, reliable way to detect water phase separation in storage tanks containing gasoline and gasoline/alcohol blends, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil, solvents and other materials.
PROCEDURE:
1. Apply a small amount of SAR-GEL® paste to the end of a gauge stick.
2. Spread the paste over a few inches on the surface of the gauge stick.
3. Insert the gauge stick into the reservoir for recommended time (listed in table below).
4. The presence of water is indicated when the SAR-GEL® paste turns a dark scarlet color.
