PR 1770 Class C High Strength Fuel Tank Sealant
A filleting compound for sealing integral fuel tank and pressurized cabins. PR 1770 class C was especially developed for use over a temperature range of -55°C to 120°C up to 180°C and with outstanding resistance to aircraft fuels (aviation gasoline or jet fuel) and petroleum base lubrificating oils.
PR 1770 class C is a two-part polysulfide Permapol P-5 liquid polymer. The mixed compound is a trowlable liquid that may be applied with a brush, trowel or roller and does not flow from vertical or overhead surfaces after application as a faying surfaces sealant. Sealant has excellent adhesion to aluminium, titanium, stainless steel, and other metals.
