Goodrich's 74-451-206 FASTboot Primer is, as the name suggests, a primer that activates pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) on the back of neoprene, Estane, and silver Estane patches. This material is aclear amber liquid with solvent odor. It's important to note that this item is considered by Goodrich to be “age-sensitive," i.e. it degrades over time. Evidence of this degradation can be found by looking for signs of clouding and/or precipitation in the bottom of container. Also, if in pen form, check and make sure the tip is moist with the primer.
