LOCTITE® 561 is designed for the fastening and sealing of prestressed metal threaded and bolted joints. It is supplied in an easy-to-use applicator stick for dispensing as a paste where the use of liquid sealants is impractical. The product cures in the absence of air between tight metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leaks caused by impacts and/or vibrations. This industrial grade develops a low and controlled pull-out torque, facilitating the separation of threaded parts. It is also fluorescent for improved detection during safety inspections.
