Military Specification Blue Splice, Conductor | M81824/1-2
This military specification M81824/1-2 conductor is made from heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with immersion-resistant thermoplastic sealing rings. This butt splice connector features a copper contact material with tin plating and has a crimp type termination method. This part provides excellent immersion resistance in-line splices of 1 to 1 wires between 20 and 60 AWG and provides insulations rated for 135 degrees Celsius. All of the parts meet SAE AS81824/1 requirements when installed properly. This part is also RoHS compliant.
