Castrol Techniclean™ AS 58 is a fast drying, low odour, isoparaffin based solvent cleaner. It has excellent
solvency power and is compatible with all metal substrates and most non-metal substrates.
Techniclean AS 58 has been developed specifically as an alternative to chlorinated solvent cleaners and
traditional high aromatic-containing hydrocarbon solvent cleaners
Applications :
- Soak Tank :
Components should be fully immersed in neat product. Contact time depends on soil severity.
- Ultrasonic Tank :
Components should be fully immersed in neat product.
- Fully sealed Vapour Degreasing Equipment under low pressure
Product is well experienced for use in fully sealed low pressure : hydrocarbon vapour degreasing equipments. It
must not be used in open vapour degreasing systems.
- Wipe Method :
Product should be applied neat via hand held spray or brush and the surface is then wiped to a clean, dry finish.
Advantages :

allowing the fluid to penetrate into difficult to reach areas – improves parts cleanliness and reduces rework .

- No waste water is produced and solvent can be recycled by distillation – highly effective and yet
