SC-1074B-2 is a sprayable, peelable preservation coating formulated for protection of
plastic, metal, porcelain and painted surfaces during in-plant fabrication, operation,
shipping and storage. SC-1074B-2 contains low content of heavy metals and is suitable
for surfaces used in nuclear applications.

For application on parts with gaps or openings such as seams, butt or lap joints, access
doors, windows etc. measuring less than 1/4 inch, the use of SC-10763-3 caulking
compound is recommended. The SC-1076-3 caulk will fuse with the SC-1074B-2
peelable preservation basecoat when applied and later be removed as a single film.
SC-1074B-2 preservation basecoat can be used alone or for added exterior durability it
can be over-coated with SC-1090, SC-1091-1 or SC-1095 preservation topcoat for a
complete peelable preservation system. For nuclear applications use with SC-1090-1
preservation topcoat.
