ARDROX® 2872
Highly effective Intermediate Coat Paint Remover
Ardrox®
2872 is an alkali-accelerated benzyl alcohol paint remover. It is designed to remove
intercoat (selectively-strippable) paint systems, from aircraft and other surfaces. It contains no
halogenated solvents.
Application :
Ardrox®
2872 is applied by spraying with a piston-type pump and spray wand. Use with 2:1, 3:1,
5:1 or 10:1 pumps (5:1 and 10:1 preferred). Pouring is also possible.
Apply to a thickness of 2 to 3 times the coating thickness or until the paint is uniformly covered. Do
not apply too heavily, sagging could occur. Personnel should always wear suitable protective
clothing.
