NYCOPROTEC 04 is a petroleum oil with a viscosity of 25 cSt at
40°C. It is based on a mineral turbine oil fortified with a corrosioninhibiting additive package
Application :
NYCOPROTEC 04 is used as a storage oil to protect aircraft
components from corrosion (such as fuel systems). It is also used
as lubricating and corrosion-preventive oil for pins, locks and other
moving surfaces. It may be applied by spraying or brushing on external components. Internal components
are usually protected by filling with the oil. NYCOPROTEC 04 is usually drained prior to use.
