Ardrox 3702 is a water based alkaline solution containing surfactants and corrosion inhibitors. It is free from nitrite, chromate, and silicon. Typical applications are:
- Passivation after pickling and deoxidation of ferrous metals
- Inter-stage corrosion protection of steel and cast iron
- Corrosion inhibition during mechanical treatments (humid sand blasting, shotting)
- Passivation before painting
