ROYCO LGF
LANDING GEAR AND STRUT FLUID
ROYCO LGF is a mineral oil based hydraulic fluid designed specifically for use in aircraft landing gear systems shock struts and other fluid dampening systems. Modern additive technology for greatly improved lubricity and extreme pressure antiwear performance is used to provide the performance levels required by today’s wide body aircraft.
Applications :
- ROYCO LGF was specifically developed to improve “slip stiction” and to alleviate “ladder cracking” in landing gear struts due to sudden and severe shock loads encountered in these aircraft during landing.
- ROYCO LGF is approved for use in most current models of Boeing, Lockheed, McDonnell Douglas, Airbus, and many other manufacturers of commercial transports.
Specifications :
ROYCO LGF is qualified to Boeing Materials Specification BMS 3-32 (Type II) it also conforms to Douglas Specification DPM-6177. Documentation supporting other transport manufacturers’ specification may be obtained upon request.
Composition :
ROYCO LGF is a preservative grade of hydraulic fluid conforming to MIL-H-5606 plus LUBRIZOL 1395 and other additives.
